Doug Hendrickson joined The•Team (formerly known as Wasserman) in 2018 and serves as Executive Vice President of Football. For 32 years, Hendrickson has been widely recognized as one of the top agents representing NFL players, coaches, and management, named by USA Today as one of the Top 100 Most Powerful People in the NFL, and by Forbes as one of the Most Powerful Agents representing NFL players.
Responsible for over 50 top-100 Draft selections, more than a dozen first-round picks, and some of the largest contracts in the NFL, Hendrickson oversees The•Team's day-to-day football operations, including contract negotiations, client relations, brand management, draft preparation, and business development.
In addition to co-leading the Football group, Hendrickson brings clients access to his long-standing, deep, meaningful relationships with Fortune 500 executives and leaders across the tech, government, and financial sectors.
Hendrickson graduated from San Jose State University, where he played on the basketball and baseball teams. He and his wife, Shyla, reside in Marin County, CA with their three children. He also serves as a member of the California State University (CSU) Board of Trustees, extending his leadership beyond football into higher education and public service.
Appointed by Governor Gavin Newsom to serve on the California State University Board of Trustees — the governing body overseeing the 23-campus CSU system, the largest four-year public university system in the country.

One of Hendrickson's longest-standing and most recognizable clients, Marshawn "Beast Mode" Lynch built a 12-season NFL career highlighted by a Super Bowl XLVIII championship, five Pro Bowl selections, and an All-Pro nod — and negotiated some of the largest running-back contracts of his era along the way. The two remain close collaborators today as co-hosts of the Politickin' podcast.
A four-time Pro Bowler and one of the league's most relentless pass rushers, Crosby has been a cornerstone of the Raiders' defense since being drafted in 2019. In 2025, Hendrickson helped negotiate a three-year extension that made Crosby the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history, capping a run of three major contract negotiations with the Raiders in four years.
In April 2025, McBride signed a four-year contract extension with the Arizona Cardinals that made him the highest-paid tight end in NFL history, reflecting his emergence as one of the league's premier receiving threats at the position.
